Ford has come out with something new to go along with their Mustang, the Mach-E SUV. This is a step away from their usual fair, being that it’s all electronic and obviously an attempt to compete against Tesla.
The 2020 Ford Mach-E has a different style that I’m really liking. The design reminds of a more expensive SUV and the specs remind me of a sports car! With 0-60 mph in the mid 3 second range for the GT model (with options). I don’t see how you could go wrong with this car as an option as opposed to a Tesla with similar options. The pricing structure is about the same, leaning a little bit towards the Mustang Mach-E being slightly more affordable (depending on options).
Storage options seem interesting with a trunk in the front that has 4.8 cubic feet of cargo space that’s not only water resistant but offers a drain in the bottom to get rid of any water. I could see using this spot to store dirty equipment after riding mountain bikes or motorcycles. Easy clean up has a way to make me love it, especially with active kids!
