So, it summer time and that means car meets! Yes! Lots of fun for you and your friends! I know that I love going to a Car’s and Coffee and see what rolls in that morning.
There is often such a wide variety each week that you never know what or who is going to show up at the meet. I’ve seen everything from rat rods to the latest and greatest super cars parked next to each other.
One of the great things about meets like these is that you know that everyone is an automotive enthusiast and you’ll all have a lot to talk about together. Also, some good coffee and usually a donut or two is enough to get me to show up that early in the morning!
One of the last ones I went to I found a group of MINI Coopers had shown up and I didn’t know anything about it happening. When they saw me roll in to the parking lot in my MINI we immediately had a connection and had to park together.
You’ll see that somewhat often at meets, alike cars parked together. But then again, you’ll get something so off beat that it’s one of a kind. Those cars park alone (yet together), with everyone else. It’s hard to explain other than you have to be there to understand.
All in all, I highly recommend trying to make a Car’s and Coffee at least once a month, especially if you love cars as much as I do. You never know, if we’re near each other you may see me roll in with my MINI Cooper also!
